We are excited to share a design improvement on the AC X320. The X320 AC connector arrangement has been changed to a potted connection where the lead will pass through the cable gland and be soldered to a small potted PCB. This means the 3pin AC connection using the LTW lead will no longer be used on AC X320 units.

This will solve the issue of LTW leads failing in certain chemical situations and provide a high-quality sealing solution that prevents capillary action leaks through the cable and isn’t reliant on correct gland tightening at the installation site.

If you wish to retrofit, we offer two new X320 spares with country specific leads permanently cabled in to either replace the entire boot or the potted connection.
