Rinstrum has been doing custom Lua applications to solve custom weighing applications for over 10 years.   To reflect this growth and importance of Lua custom offerings, Rinstrum now has a dedicated Lua team, headed by one of our senior engineers, Menaka.

Under Menaka’s leadership, the dedicated Lua team will enhance our Lua capability further to deliver custom weighing solutions. Rinstrum prioritizes strong collaboration between developers, sales team and our customers to gather the end user specifications. Menaka will further develop the team’s internal testing and documentation, helping both sales teams and customers understand potential challenges and solutions. This approach not only refines coding and testing practices but also strengthens the relationship with the sales team, leading to better outcomes for the customers.

Menaka, with her extensive educational background and experience, is right at home leading this team. She holds a Master of Science of Engineering in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, both from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Since joining Rinstrum in 2015, Menaka has worked in production engineering, supply chain and hardware and software development and grown her leadership and technical skills through that journey. Her ability to bridge the gap between technical development and customer needs means the Lua team and the sales team can continually improve our ability to deliver custom Lua applications.
